Intermodal terminal ČD-DUSS Terminál, a. s. is a public terminal for combined transport and transportation, which is situated in the industrial area of Northwest Bohemia. In this region there is a very strong road freight transport to Western Europe and at the same time a dense railway network.

From this point of view, the intermodal terminal ČD-DUSS Terminál, a. s. serves as a catchment area for the collection and distribution of goods from the surrounding industrial areas and subsequent connection to the railway and trains of combined transport. The effort to transfer road transport to rail is historically linked to the Ro-La project, which began its existence in Lovosice in 1994.

The new logistics centre was built in 2006 – 2007 as a follow-up to the Ro-La project and this year, almost twenty years on, it offers services in transhipment of transportable units between the above modes of transport, i.e. between road and rail.

In the centre there are logistics halls available for transshipment and storage of goods. We also offer customs services, packing of containers for ocean voyages or, conversely, unloading of goods from sea containers and subsequent consolidation, palletising, packing with delivery to final destinations.

The idea of building a logistics centre and other plans of the terminal in Lovosice was and is in line with the objectives of the European transport policy and supports the shift of part of the transport performance from road to rail transport in the North Bohemian region, which is extremely burdened with road freight transport.
